Frequently Asked Questions

The Basics

I have received a lot of good questions about basic things most people aren't sure about either before they start the site or after. Here is a good place to look if you are thinking of having a website-

- Where should I get my Domain and Hosting ?
A lot of people have asked me this question, because having a good domain and host means a lot. I will always refer you to the site http://Dot5Hosting.com. I have been frequently using Dot5 for a while now, and I haven't had any real issues with them yet. The best part about Dot5 is that their number is posted at the top of each page, and they are available 24/7 from anywhere in the world. I have always referred them, and will continue to until I have something bad to say. They are cheap and provide you with a large package for a great price! They also have a 30-day money back guarantee in case you change your mind, and each account receives a free $25 yahoo search credit, a $50 google AdWords credit, 2GB Carbonite desktop backup, Shopsites' Online Store, and Submilnet search engine tools!

- Are you available to keep updating my site? Will that cost more money?
Yes, I am available to maintain and update a site you have received from me, or from someone else. I will need access to your domain/hosting though. It will cost money, but I am pretty cheap for updating. The prices of course all depend, but if you would like to inquire about my services, feel free to e-mail me anytime here.

- Will you teach me web design?
This is a question I get a lot, and its not that I don't mind helping, but there is a reason I chose this as my profession. Its a lot of hard work, and knowing codes and styles isn't all there is to it. Its a lot of knowledge and work that even the greatest designers, and developers are still learning new information each day- it isn't really something that can be taught over night. I will not teach you to design your own site, but I will reference you to a few great sites that may help you learn basics so you may learn from there(until I create some of my own tutorials for your use)- here are a few links,
